Blog about a country

1. Choose an English speaking country that you are interested in knowing more about. A list of countries can be found here.

2. Go to blogspot.com to register a new blog.

3. Choose a name for your blog, for example iloveireland.blogspot.com.

4. Choose a background you like.

5. Start writing! Check your spelling and your text before you post it, please.

The blog posts need to be 100-200 words and will be named the following: 

1: Why I chose to blog about this country. (A description of what made you choose this specific nation.)

2: Who? (Famous people, Head of state, Ethnic groups, Population, Languages, Religions.)

3: Where? (Geography facts: Where in the world is it, Area, Big rivers, High mountains, Big lakes, Neighbouring countries, Capital, Other important cities)
4: When? (A short summary of the history of the nation)

5: Wiiihooo? (Some examples of holidays or celebrations in the country.) 
5: Why move there? (A summary of why it is a good idea to move there, where you sum up the best things about the country) 

6 and more: Your own ideas...

You will from time to time be told to comment on your classmates' blogs and then you will write something positive and a question. After this blog-project is done you will be given a test on comparing three English speaking countries to Sweden with the help of you classmates' blogs.
